20 -- SHIPBOARD SOL DTCG40-98-B-50031 DUE 043098 POC Point of Contact -- Point of Contact is Sharon Jackson, Contract Specialist, at (410) 762-6463/Nancy Dean, Contracting Officer at (410) 762-6461 The Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources who can provide shipboard galley furniture. Furniture includes (1) Dresser, galley, stainless steel with top, sides, back, bottom, doors drawers and welded in sink. Modular construction for shipboard installation and use. Dresser shall be constructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawiining 49A BUSL-651-003. Elevation and plan will be identified in the solicitation. (2) Dresser, lavatory, stainless steel formed construction. Dresser shall be constructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawing 49A BUSL651-003. Elevation and plan to be identified in the solicitation. (3) Mess cabinet, stainless steel. Cabinet shall be constructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawiining 49A BUSL-651-003. Elevation and plan will be identified in solicitation. (4) Overhead cabinet and shelf. Cabinet shall be contructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawiining 49A BUSL-651-003. Elevation and plan will be identified in solicitation. (5) Entertainment center formed aluminum construction. Entertainment center shall be constructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawin 49A BUSL-651-003. Elevation and plan will be identified in solicitation. (6) Locker with drawer unit, formed aluminum construction. Locker shall be constructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawiining 49AA BUSL-651-003. Elevation and plan will be identified in solicitation. (7) Locker, berth, aluminum, formed construction with fixed shelf. The locker and shelf shall be fabricated of .063" thick, 5052-H32 aluminum. The locker to have front, sides, back, top and bottom. The overhall dimensions of the locker to be 17 1/4" wide x 33 3/4" high x 20" deep. Locker to be contructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawing 49A BUSL-651-003. Elevation and plan will be identified in solicitation. (8) Locker, storage, (port side) aluminum construction with a hinged top and one corner to have a radius. Dimensions w/o DK. angles to be 48" wide x 18 x 3/8" deep x 29 4/8" high. The locker and top shall be fabricated of 3/16" thick 5086-H32 aluminum. Locker to be constructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawing 49A BUSL-651-003. Elevation and plan will be identified in solicitation. (9) This item is the same as item 8, with the exception for (STBD side) anf opposite hand. Locker to be constructed in accordance with Coast Guard drawing 49A BUSL-651-003. Elevation and plan will be identified in solicitation. (10) Contractor shall submit engineering drawings for approval within 30 days after award of contract. (11) Contractor shall provide a final set of mylars for items 1-9 after preliminary acceptance of the initial submissions. Final mylars shall be a minimum of 3 mils thick. Contractorr shall submit mylars within 90 days after award of contract. Items 1-9 shall be delivered within 90 days after approval of engineering drawings. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price requirements contract with a base year and two option years. Estimated quantity per is 8 shipsets per year. The F.O.B. point shall be destination. All items shall be delivered to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd., Baltimore, MD 21226-5000.
