The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to issue a firm-fixed price delivery order against Basic Ordering Agreement DAAJ09-95-G-0018 with Boeing Defense and Space Group for airframe modification kits that will increase the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects E3 hardening of MH-47E helicopters. The total quantity will not exceed 24, delivery will be within one year. Currently, the Government does not own drawings for E3 kits, however, the Government intends to acquire level 3 drawings of sufficient quality to allow the Army to compete future actions. Delivery of the drawings is within 270 days. Boeing possess requisite engineering expertise and technical data to develop the E3 kits and provide level 3 drawings. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be consideredby the Government. See Note 22. (0055)
