Processing includes compaction, incineration and metal melt. One year period of performance to commence 15 June 1998 or date of award, whichever is later, with the possibility of two one-year option periods. Estimated annual quantities include 2,000 pounds of compaction material; 7,500 pounds of dry active waste incineration; 100 cubic feet each of water, oil and sludge incineration; and 95,000 pounds of metal to melt. Contractor must possess a Nuclear Regulatory Commission agreement or state license for possession, storage, processing, and disposal of radioactive material. This is an unrestricted solicitation.
