Kent Street, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22209-2131, Tel: (703) 875-4357, Fax: (703) 875-4009 The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, under unusual and compelling urgency, follow-on services from Morrison Knudsen Corporation, under statutory authority 41 USC, 253(c)(2), as implemented under FAR 6.302-2, to support the Bosnia Emergency Reconstruction Program and to further TDA's Infrastructure and Industrial Development Program (IIDP) for Bosnia & Herzegovina (BiH). TDA has determined that it is likely that award to a source other than the original source would result in (i) substantial duplication of cost to the Government which is not expected to be recovered through competition, and (ii) unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's needs. The period of performance is from February 28, 1998 to March 1, 1999. The proposed contract action is for one source under authority of FAR 6.302-2. This synopsis is a notice of intent to place a contract and shall not be considered a request for offers. (0054)
