The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following software and software support items manufactured and provided by Silvon Software Inc. The Government requires software and support to be completely consistent and compatible with the existing Government environment. The items are: (1) Unlimited-SDM-Helpline Support Reps (1 each); (2) One year maintenance/support fee (1 year). The annual software support shall consist of all updates, telephone and or electronic mail assistance to resolve Centerline software problems. This service shall be provided Monday thru Friday excluding Government holidays from 0900 to 2100 Eastern Standard Time. The period of performance shall be for one year from the date the ninety day warranty period expires. Silvon Software Inc is the proprietary and only known source to provide the software and support. This software and support is needed to expand and support an unlimited number of Helpline Support Representatives. The AEGIS Training and Readiness Center (ATRC) is tasked to provide the facilities and support infrastructure required to support AEGIS computer program lifecycle support engineering (LSE) for AEGIS class Cruisers and Destroyers. LSE includes maintaining, updating, delivering and installing AEGIS computer programs. To support this mission, the ATRC utilizes the Silvon Helpline application programs as a launch point for tracking various facility tasking/tracking issues including equipment trouble reports, facility trouble reports, application trouble reports, user requirements, ATRC staff and support contractor tasking and various other functions. These items must be completely compatible with existing Silvon Software Inc already being utilized by the ATRC. These items will allow an unlimited number of users to utilize the software and support. Complete systems capability and compatibility is absolutely necessary. Award is to be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources shall provide manufacturer's specifications with their fax quote which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448.
