This action is one of three requirements approved under a class Justification and Approval; DAAE30-98-R-0307(Royal Ordnance), DAAE30-98-R-0308(Day and Zimmermann), DAAE30-98-R-0309(HiTech). No other sources are known to possess the capability and facilities to complete the requirement and schedule to conduct explosive melt/pour of Composition B explosive into M821A1/M889A1 81mm Mortar projectiles.
