Plans & specs will be available on or about 16 March 1998. Contractor
shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation,
supervision and disposal necessary to renovate the boiler plant and
perform stack repairs at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT
(New London County). Work consists of asbestos abatement, insulation,
installation of oil-water separators, lighting retrofits and
improvements, structural repairs to the stack, and the replacement of
condensate tank, condensate piping and deaerator. Contractor shall also
be responsible for providing temporary boilers during the construction
phase. All work must be completed by 30 September 1998. Cost range is
between $500,00 and $1,000,000. SIC code is 1541. Solicitation

Ct. This site visit is the only organized walk-thru that will be
scheduled. This project is issued pursuant to the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is unrestricted. THE
