The USDA Forest Service, Southwestern Region, requests quotes to furnish all facilities, equipment, materials, labor, supervision, personnel, transportation, and incidentals necessary to convert spatial data from several different data sources into an ARC/INFO data structure. This conversion will be done using ARC/INFO and any necessary macros. The Contractor will be converting LLD's (Legal Land Description) and GCDB (Geographic Coordinate Data Base) from the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) into an ARC/INFO format and using CFF (Cartographic Feature Files) along with GLO (Government Land Office) platting and microfiche files for checking and completing each township. This will create a new GIS ownership layer for the Region.
