Hughes 816-426-7267, ext 229 The U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, intends to purchase fifteen (15) PWA Analog devises with notch, NSN: 5998-01-380-1642. The Government intends to purchase these devises from Comsat/RSI of Largo, FL. The Government knows of no other source and believes that this item is proprietary to Comsat/RSI. The manufacturer's part number is 40505-1301-102 and cage code are 1M813. The spare parts will be delivered to the National Weather Service, Kansas City, on an FOB Destination basis. As these parts are in support of current repair programs alternative or like items would not be acceptable without extensive testing. The Government does not have specifications or drawings for this item. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire from one manufacturer under the authority of 41USC253(c)(1). The Government knows of only one source authorized to provide the device referenced. Any other small business sources able to provide the exact make and model of the equipment referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 days after it's publication. Interested firms should submit in writing, it's name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment, and the name, telephone number, and point of contact for a businesses or other Government agency to which it has previously provided the item.
