Hart (410) 278-2423 (Site Code DAAD05) The US Army Aberdeen Acquisition Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland is soliciting proposals for acquisition of eight boats for the Naval Reserve Inshore Boat Unit (IBU) program with spare parts. The acquisition center is the procuring office for the Office of Special Technology located at Fort Washington, Maryland who is the program office sponsoring this effort. The IBU's are lightly manned Naval Reserve Units. The intent of this effort is to acquire a rapidly deployable armed, small craft with precise navigation capabilities to support U.S. Navy and joint expeditionary warfare security operations in littoral operations worldwide. Primary tasking will be to directly support Naval Coastal Warfare Port Security and Harbor Defense objectives.
