ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington, intends to award a best value contract for operation and maintenance services of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT) Detachment La Moure, North Dakota. The contract shall be for operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year (including the additional day for leap year). The period of performance is anticipated to be for one base year (which includes a 3 month phase-in period) plus four one year options and a six (6) month option extension upon expiration of the last option. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held. Offers interested in attending the site visit shall submit their clearance information on company letterhead signed by the company security manager to FISC Washington DC no later than 17 April 1998.
