Each controller must be totally compatible with the current equipment configuration, both technically and physically. Each controller must be 19" rack mountable, no larger than 8 1/2" high, with 4 DB25 SDLC synchronous ports (SNA/SDLC configurable, PU types 1,2, and 2.1, LU types 1, 2, 3, 4, 6.2 and 7), 32 DB9 asynchronous connectors configured for IBM Hosts, and a DB9 (4 or 16Mbps) Token Ring connector.
