Services may extend to other states within the jurisdiction of the Atlanta Homeownership Center which includes Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida and Indiana. Responsibilities include the full range of management, maintenance and marketing of single family properties, including the oversight of sales and closing activities. Duties will include those currently performed by in-house HUD staff as well as those performed by current HUD contractors who serve as property managers and appraisers. The contract will be awarded for a one-year base period with four one-year options. It is HUD's preference to award one contract for the entire jurisdiction. However, more than one contract may be awarded depending on the capacity of individual offerors. Offerors will be rated on prior experience in this type of work, past performance record (references), management capability and quality control, capacity, and management of subcontracts.
