Contractor shall provide the services of a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medical or Family Practice physician to perform Medical Officer of the Day duties. The services shall be provided one day a week, weekends, holidays and scheduled leave for the VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, AR in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. Anticipated contract period is 5-1-98 through 4-30-99 with a one-year option to extend the term of the contract. Physicians must be certified, licensed, and attain and hold an in-force Professional Malpractice Insurance in an amount not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) during the contractual period along with other requirements as indicated in the solicitation package.
