Graff, CDR, USN, Contracting Officer Corrections: This action originally publicized in the CBD dated 2/26/97 is modified as follows: (1) Performance will begin 1 Sep 98 (allowing for a 30-day transition period) with a 12-month base period and nine one year options. (2) The contract encourages the contractor to implement energy-savings projects to meet the requirements of the National Energy Conservation Policy Act of 1992 and to achieve further cost reductions under the contract. These projects will be negotiated with the contractor, and a separate contract/order will be placed as a result of the requirements of the contract. (3) Increases in the scope of work over the possible ten-year life of the contract will be accomodated by modification of the contract through a class J&A citing 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1.
