The U.S. Army Acquisition Center intends to negotiate with Thermal System Inc., 500 Cardegien Road, St. Paul, MN 55164, under the authority of 10 U.S.C., Section 2304(c)(1), for the 51 units of Ultraviolet Aerodynamic Particle Sizer (UVAPS) to support the Edgewood Research, Development, and Engineering Center (ERDEC). The UVAPS is required to measure particles in the 0.5 to 15 micron level. The purchase of UVAPS will have a base quantity of 14 units with warranty. There are three anticipated options in the quantities of 7, 25, and 5 units respectively. (See also Note 22). (0049)
