Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for cutter offices/storage renovations at USCG Group Woods Hole, Woods Hole, MA (Barnstable County). Work includes, but is not limited to, the total removal of all interior wall systems, flooring systems, ceiling systems and paint from the approx. 2800 SF second floor of Building #1 at USCG Group Woods Hole. The floor tile, approx. 1800 SF, to be removed contains asbestos and the paint, approx. 6500 SF, to be removed contains lead. Lead paint and asbestos abatement procedures will be required. Work also includes the construction of offices, storage spaces and toilet rooms to accomodate 3 Coast Guard cutters and an Electronics Support Detachment. New heating, plumbing and electrical distribution systems serving the second floor will be required. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. SIC code is 1542. All work shall be completed by June 30, 1998. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The max. line of credit is $500,000.
