The work requires familiarity with Federal Employment guidelines, a national focus and scope of operations and experience in conducting searches for candidates in various occupations and areas of responsibilities ranging from technical experts to senior management positions. The OCC is a bureau of the Department of Treasury and is responsible for promoting the safety and soundness of the country's national banks. The OCC employees approximately 2,900 people. Headquarters is located in Washington, DC, with six district offices located in New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, Kansas City, Dallas, and San Francisco. Contractors responding to this sources sought synopsis must have the capability of conducting searches and filling vacancies at all OCC locations. The predominant occupations within the OCC are National Bank Examiners, Attorneys, Economists, as well as a variety of administrative, communication, community and banking relations, managerial and support positions.
