Bannister Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64132. The solicitation will be for a base year and two option years. This will be a requirements type contract under the authority of FAR Part 16 and guidelines of FAR Part 14. The Government does not have specifications for the items requiring repair. It is requested that concerns responding to this requirement must be within a 100 mile radius of the Kansas City, Missouri area. The Government will also require perspective contractor to package,pick-up and deliver equipment. Contractor shall package and pick-up identified equipment within 5 working days after receipt of oral or written notification. The Contractor shall provide a written evaluation report within 15 working days after receipt of equipment. Repaired and/or calibrated equipment shall be returned in accordance with the following schedule: (a) For Calibration Only -- Fifteen (15) working days from receipt of delivery order. (b) For Repair and Calibration -- twenty-one (21) working days from the date of receipt of modified delivery order approving the repair and calibration. For Rejected Equipment -- Ten (10) working days from date of receipt of rejected equipment. For parts not readily available, the contractor shall notify the Government of any delay due to parts availability that may impact the contractor's ability to meet the required delivery schedule. Concerns having the ability to furnish repair services for the items referenced above are requested to provide the following information to the person listed above: Company Name, Address, Telephone Number, a statement detailing the company's ability to provide electronic repair services, and three references of commercial or Government contracts held where similar electronic repair services were provided. Solicitation will be issued approximately withine 15 days after publication, and bids will be due approximately 30 days thereafter. Solicitation requests may be faxed to 816-426-5067. (0048)
