Burks, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5021 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) plans to contract with Berkeley Research Associates, Inc., Berkeley, CA (BRACA). For further development to manufacture and field a validated debris mitigation system for soft x-ray testing. The goal of the effort will be to obtain the technical research necessary to model, design, fabricate, and field synchronizable ultra-fast closure debris mitigation systems to support soft x-ray tests over an increased fluence area. BRACA will build from previous related contracts with this agency. DSWA believes that BRACA is the only responsible source that has the experience in place to conduct the continuing effort in the time required. See Note 22.
