The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louisville, KY intends to contract for the purchase of brand name or equal for, the complete IBM MedSpeak Radiology continuous voice recognition dictation system using simplified acquisition procedures, FAR 13.5. The system shall have capability of adding other specialty services, i.e., Pathology, Cardiology, Primary Care. This system must interface with the Decentralized Hospital System (DHCP). System must include: windows NT based software; instant display of text; accept and sign report and sent to HIS; add addendum's to report and resign; instant play back; use macros for canned report partial or in full; user defined fields; ability to have two signatures (resident and attending).
