The Joint Strike Fighter Program Office intends to modify Contract N00019-97-C-0050, awarded to Pratt & Whitney, P.O. Box 109600, West Palm Beach, FL 33410, to procure additional development and testing of an eddy current array sensor for real time monitoring of turbine engine fan blade health. Pratt & Whitney is the only responsible source capable of meeting the Government's needs for this development and testing effort. This modification is to be funded in fiscal year 1998.
