Orders will be issued for modification kits, parts/accessories/tools, and special support equipment for the Allison 501-K34 and 501-K17 engines. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Allison Engine Co. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the 501-K34 and 501-K17 Gas Turbine Engines and the only source that possesses the necessary technical data, expertise, equipment and the necessary resources to provide the supplies herein, and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Navy's requirement.
