66 -- UNIT UNDER TEST LOADS ANCILLARY SETS SOL N68335-98-Q-0099 DUE 022798 POC Ms. Dawn Chartier, Code 2132DC, (732) 323-2933 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate a sole source order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-96-G-0178 with Lockheed Martin Information Systems, Orlando, FL for the acquisition of 22 modified prototypes of Unit Under Test Loads Ancillary Sets (ULAS) and applicable data and drawings to be used with the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). As the designer, developer and manufacturer of the prototype, Lockheed Martin is the only known company capable of modifying the prototype. The Government does not own data, drawings or technical specifications for the prototype. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
