This is a notice of intent to Request a Proposal and negotiate under other than full and open competitive basis for the purchase of Thermocouple Panel, Jacks, & Accessories. This contract will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Thermo Electric Company 109 North 5th Street, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662-6125. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplier or service will satisfy agency requirements. This is primarily due to the requirement for compatibility with the existing array of Thermo Electric Company Thermocouple panels as well as concern for the outfitting schedule and possible high cost of abatement. The following is a summary of the elements or characteristics that Thermocouple Panels, Jacks, & Accessories must possess. The Thermocouple Jack Panels Overall Panel Dimensions are 4-9/16" X 16-1/4" and Thermo Electric Company Part Numbers: (P/A296-01-20-EX, P/A296-01-20-JX, P/A296-01-20-KX, PA296-01-20-SX). The Thermocouple Jack Panels are Thermo Electric Part Number: (P/A-46804-JX). The Thermocouple Plug Style Connectors are Thermo Electric Part Numbers: (CO-46105-EX, CO-46101-JX, CO-46102-KX, CO-46104-SX, CO-42237-EX, CO-42231-JX, CO-42234-KX, CO-42233-SX). Other required equipment consist of Electric Boxes Thermo Electric Part Number: (EN 1527-2) and Wire Clamp Brackets Thermo Electric Company Part Number: (BKCL27604). Delivery is required 4 weeks after award of contract. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
