The contractor will furnish an estimated 30 rods of barbed wire fence (4-wire), 13 rods of barbed wire fence (3-wire), 16 each barbed wire end panels, 7 each barbed wire stress panels, 2 each five post barbed wire corner panel-type II, 6 each barbed wire gate (4-wire), 3 each barbed wire gate (3-wire), 43 rods of fence removal, 8 each complete 12 foot cattleguard assembly, 16 each concrete 12 foot cattleguard base. The contractor will have 50 days to complete the project after the Notice to Proceed is issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes and will be awarded on a purchase order approximately April 3, 1998. In accordance with Public Law 103-355 (FASA), for awarded contracts between $25,000 and $100,000, a 50% payment protection will be required in the form of either: 1) an irrevocable letter of credit, 2) a payment bond, or 3) certificate of deposit, will be required within fifteen calendar days after receipt of notification of award.
