Gardner, 918-421-2423, Facsimile 918-421-3391, or E-Mail Gardner_Lenora@mcalestr-emh1.army.mil (Site Code DAAA31) The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (McAAP), located 10 miles west of McAlester, OK, seeks to identify potential steam providers that would have an interest in taking ownership of the boiler plants and the steam distribution system located within the boundaries of the installation. Ultimately McAAP is seeking total divestiture of the installations boiler plants and the steam disbribution system to the non-federal sector. The new owner (herein referred to as "the Service Provider") would assume full responsibility for maintaining the distribution system so that a reliable supply of steam can be transported to each McAAP consumption point on the installation. The service provider would also be responsible for all capital investments to maintain, improve, and extend McAAP's steam distribution system and boiler plants. The service provider would purchase the existing system at a fair market value.
