(Held in conjunction with the 3rd Annual Desktop Collaboration/JIVA Conference) Tuesday, May 19 -- Thursday, May 21, 1998 Founders Inn and Conference Center Virginia Beach, VA Sponsored by DIA, CIA, NSA, IMO, and NIMA. The goal of the Collaboration/JIVA four-day conference is to help the government (Intelligence & DoD Communities) transition smartly to a collaborative environment. The extensive Technology Exposition will feature companies from across the country giving hands- on technology demonstrations in areas such as Video Teleconferencing, Collaboration, Communication Switches, WWW, Internet/Intranet, Information Access Strategies, Image Storage and Retrieval, Systems Integration, Audio Conferencing, and much more! The expo is open to small and large businesses with any and all technologies. We anticipate 300+ Intelligence/DoD personnel to attend the conference.Attendees will be able to choose from several different breakout sessions throughout the week including Knowledge Management, Collaboration, Distance Learning, Security, Information Management, and Integration. Exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to participate in the Electronic Collaboration Interoperability Center (ECIC). This concurrent conference session will demonstrate audio, video, and data conferencing "in action."
