H -- COMPLIANCE TESTING PROGRAM FOR FMVSS NOS. 208, 212, 219, AND 301 SOL DTNH22-98-R-01055 DUE 061298 POC Rose Watson, Contract Specialist, (202) 366-9557 This requirement is to obtain the necessary personnel, facilities, materials, equipment for the inspection, compliance testing and reporting services for motor vehicles for conformance with the requirements of the specified FMVSS Nos. 208, 212, 219 and 301. Offerors must have the necessary testing facilities, materials and equipment capable of meeting the testing requirements as specified by the Solicitation and FMVSS Nos. 208, 212, 219 and 301. Contractor must have facilities and personnel to perform both FMVSS 208 sled test and barrier test at time of proposal submission. The Government may require a demonstration test at the offeror's expense prior to contract award using the test facility, materials, personnel and equipment that the offeror proposes to use in performance of the contract. Subcontracting will not be permitted under this contract. Manufacturers of vehicles and/or components to be tested are not eligible for award of this procurement. The Government intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price,Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. A period of performance for twelve (12) months with four (4) additional twelve (12) month option periods.
