B -- AUDIO ANALYZER SYSTEM FOR TELEPHONE ANSWERING MACHINES SOL RFP-7168 POC Karen Smith (202) 324-8808 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a firm fixed-price contract for engineering efforts on an audio analyzer system (AAS) for Telephone Answering Machines (TAM)s. Some of the services to be performed: The Contractor shall demonstrate the functionality of the prototype of the AAS by removing the speech messages from a selected telephone answering machine in the original digital format. The Contractor shall demonstrate the deliverable AAS by removing the digital messages from a selected telephone answering machine in the original digital format. For specific details, request RFP-7168. The RFP is to be issued approximately 3/2/98. Request for a solicitation package must be in writing and postmarked no later than fifteen (15) calendar days from date of this notice. Any request postmarked after the fifteen (15) days will be subject to the availability of solicitation packages. No telephone requests will be honored.
