58 -- MAINTENANCE OF MOTOROLA RADIO EQUIPMENT SOL N68936-98-Q-0611 DUE 022598 POC Phyllis Jenkins, Purchase Agent, (760) 939-4277 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to procure on a Competitive basis, routine and emergency maintenance for Government owned Motorola radio equipment. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation package as Attachment (1). This is a small purchase, small business set-aside, the SIC Code is 7622 and the Size Standard is $5 million. The period of performance for the resulting contract will be one year beginning 01 Jun 98 through 31 May 99, with options for two additional years: 01 Jun 99 through 31 May 2000; and 01 Jun 2000 through 31 May 2001. The task requires technicians to hold a valid General class license or a NABER (National Association of Business and Educational Radio) certification or similar industrial classification and shall have completed training through a Certified electronics school. All technicians shall be Motorola Certified and trained on those Motorola systems being utilized at the Naval Air Warfare Center. Appendix A, Equipment List,will be included in the solicitation package as Attachment (2). The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to perform troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation and removal of commercial, two-way radio communications equipment. Special technical/engineering assistance will also be provided to correct malfunctions in a system. The contractor shall provide qualified engineering support services, if required, shall include both in-house and field services. The contractor shall develop and establish a Preventative Maintenance plan for all equipment listed in Attachment (2).
