Postal Service is soliciting proposals to install new vehicle lifts and do a general facility upgrade at the Albany Vehicle Maintenance Facility at 30 Old Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12288-9997. Work includes, but is not limited to, installing new inground vehicle lifts with new inground and surface mounted vehicle lifts, including a general facility upgrade. The estimated cost of the work is between $400,000.00 and $600,000.00, with completion within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on March 10, 1998. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a February 11, 1998 at a cost of $35.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S.
