Gravely (410) 278-0865 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland has a requirement seeking a water and wastewater utility company to own, operate, and maintain both distribution systems. The Utility contractor shall treat and distribute potable water; and collect and treat wastewater within the installation's boundries in the Aberdeen Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The Utility contractor shall be responsible for Performance Standards, Compliance with Environmental and Safety Laws, Codes, Permits, and coordination with applicable state and Federal Agencies. It is anticipated a cost type contract will be awarded. The contractor shall be responsible for providing metering devices to measure flows to support the monthly billing. Negotiations will be conducted exclusively from offers who are regularly engaged in the business of providing water and wastewater utility services to the general public as a regulated utility. The RFP Issue and Closing dates are for informational purposes only and shall not beused for submitting an offer. This proposed award is subject to Congressional approval. Services shall continue from date of award through the next 10 years with the contract term renewable for successive five (5) year periods unless either party shall provide at least 3 years written notice to the contrary.
