The United States Government has a requirement for Phase-Matched, Semi-Rigid RF Coaxial Cable Assemblies in accordance with Part Number 1569AS3040. The cables are stainless steel, hermetically sealed cables with gold connector pins. The lengths of the cables range from 15 inches to 782 inches. The Government intends to negotiate with two sources of supply, Kaman Instrumentation Corporation and Whittaker Corporation. The Government does not own a complete drawing package adequate for competition of the items. Forty-three different configurations of the item are required. A quantity of 12 each for each configuration will be procured. Delivery of the items will be required at a rate of 100 per month beginning 180 days after contract award. Inspection and acceptance is to be at source with delivery f.o.b. destination to NSWC Crane, Crane, IN. Request For Proposal N00164-98-R-0037 is to be issued on or about 23 Feb 98.
