The work includes but is not limited to the following: A) Remove the existing water service line, serving the pier and piping around the sheet pile bulkhead ; i.e. piping downstream of the valve pit. Remove insulation and heat tape wrapped around the stand pipes located in utility stations (6 places) and piping in the valve pit; B) Remove existing, abandoned compressed air piping, valves, pipe hangers and supports as indicated; C) Provide new water service line from the valve pit to the utility stations (6 places). This includes piping, gate valves, pressure relief valves, pressure gauges, pipe hangers and supports, and the back-flow preventer; D) Provide new solenoid valves, thermostats, gate valves, drain funnels, and piping at utility stations NO. 3 and NO. 6; E) Replace existing weather proof circuit breaker panels containing two circuit beakers with new circuit breaker panels. Reconnect two circuit breakers to existing lighting and receptacles, and third circuit breaker to solenoid valves via thermostats and make valves operational as indicated. The estimated range of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The applicable SIC is 1623.
