B -- EFT PUBLIC EDUCATION CAMPAIGN POC Donna Andersen, ( 202) 874-7267 The Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service, intends to issue a sole source modification to Contract No. T-fms-97-29 with Henry J. Kaufman and Associates, 2233 Wisconsin Ave, NW, Washington DC 20007 to increase the level of effort and maximum ceiling amount for the life of the current contract from a not to exceed amount of approximately $9.6M to a not to exceed amount of approximately $17.0M. Actual award of task orders is dependent upon the availability of funds. As currently outlined in the Contract, the modification will increase the potential capacity of the following areas: (1) Paragraph C.4.2.3 Television; (2) Paragraph C.4.2.4 Radio; and (3) Paragraph C.6.4 Community, Church and Other Consumer Education Programs. The purpose for the increase in Television and Radio is to allow for additional air time of audio visual materials previously developed by the current contractor. The purpose for the increase in Community, Church and Other Consumer Education Programs is to include the capacity for the current contractor to subcontract, on a regional and competitive basis, to community based organizations to provide public awareness services at the local level (announcements for future subcontracting opportunities will be published separately and are not part of this notice). Interested respondents must submit a written capability statement, including technical information sufficient to demonstrate a bonafide capability to meet all of the requirements stated above, to the address of the Department of the Treasury as shown above. Vendors not submitting this information or merely requesting a copy of the contract will be considered non-compliant.
