ELECTRONIC CONSTRUCTION SOLICITATIONS NOTICE TO THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY The 55th Contracting Squadron, Construction Flight, Offutt AFB, NE, is implementing "Electronic Construction Contracting". We're trying to harness the worldwide accessibility, rapid flow of information, and power of the PC and Internet, to provide a better way of soliciting bids. Recognizing the importance of team work, the 55th Contracting Squadron will be hosting a vendor day to train and demonstrate to the construction industry our future plans for doing construction solicitations here at Offutt AFB. We think that by getting the contractors trained and the questions answered prior to implementation, it will provide a smoother transition to a new way of doing business. No matter how small or large your company, whether your a general or sub contractor, supplier, or plan house, we want everybody involved in Gov't construction contracting to learn the benefits of Electronic Construction Contracting. There is a limited number of seats, and they will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Get your request in early!
