Savage (201) 714-5444/Sarah Reitleman (201) 714-5441 The U.S. Postal Service, New York Facilities Service Office, is seeking to prequalify contractors for Repair & Alteration and New Construction projects at various postal facilities in the State of New Jersey (various counties). Solicitation #332495-98-A-NJ25: Cost range is $100,000 -- $750,000.oo with a bonding capacity of $1.5 million; Solicitation #332495-98-A-NJ26: Cost range is $750,000 -- $5,000,000, with a bonding capacity of $10 million. Prequalification packages will be evaluated by the Contracting Officer's staff. Primary factors that will be considered are: construction experience, financial stability, bonding capacity, workload capacity and references from past clients. Other factors to be considered are: project management capabilities, company organization, and MBE participation and commitment, as further described in the Prequalification Statement package. All firms will be notified within 90 days of receipt of their application as to prequalification status. Firms selected as being the most qualified, will be placed on the Prequalified Contractors' List.
