dockside repairs including but not limited to the following minimum
items: (1) Renew Bulkhead Plating and Handrails, (2) Renew Stack
Plating, (3) Clean Engine Cooling System, (4) Clean Shipboard
Ventilation System, (5) Replace and Upgrade Fan Coil Units (6) Install
Main Space Sprinkler Standpipe, (7) Renew Deck Drains, (8) Install
Fusible Link System in Galley Range Guard Fire Protection System, (9)
Inspect and Overhaul Winches, (10) Inspect and Overhaul Weight Handling
Gear and Boom, (11) Inspect and Overhaul Port Chain Stopper and
Padeyes, (12) Overhaul Anchor(s) and Anchor Chain(s), (13) Overhaul
Both Port and Starboard Boat Handling Equipment, (14) Renew Sewage Tank
Flush Piping, (15) Preserve Buoy Deck, (16) Preserve Weather Decks,
(17) Preserve Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tanks, and
(18) Provide Temporary Logistics. Indefinite items include but are not
limited to the following: (1) Welding Repairs, (2) Renew Shaft Seals,
and (3) Provide Additional Temporary Logistics. Vessel's homeport is
Philadelphia, PA. Place of performance is restricted to the vessel's
homepier. Vessel's availability schedule is 20 April 1998 for 42
calendar days. Vessel is a 157 Foot Coastal Buoy Tender. All referenced
documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 500,
Norfolk, VA. A charge of $100.00 is required in the form of a certified
check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested
drawings. All businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit
bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be
issued on or after 17 FEB 98. All responsible sources may submit a bid
which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. "This
