The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) is contemplating awarding a Sole Source procurement to General Microwave Corp, 5500 New Horizons Blvd, Amityville, NY 11701, for Switches. These PIN Diode Switches must be off-the-shelf Single Pole Four Throw (SP4T), to be used in the new Expanded Radar Simulator located in the Guided Weapons Facility on Eglin Air Base, Florida. The switches will operate in the 6-18 GHz band and be specified for low insertion loss, high isolation, and terminated RF ports. Also, three bit transistor/transistor logic (TTL) control, hermetically sealed with less than 0.25 inch height required. Required delivery will begin within 75 days after award of contract and end within 100 days after contract award. Potential sources will be evaluated according to their ability to deliver off-the-shelf SP4T PIN Diode Switches which meet the specification and delivery requirements.
