CONSIGNMENT PURCHASE OF MILITARY WORKING DOGS/SHEPARD AND SPORTING BREEDS The United States Air Force is seeking additional sources of supply for the consignment purchase of Military Working Dogs. Acceptable breeds are German Shepard, Dutch Shepard, Belgian Mailinois and Labrador, Golden and Cheasapeake Bay Retrievers. Age must be between 12 months and 36 months. Heght, weight and other requirements will apply. Sources are requested to be able to sell eight or more dogs per year. Currently less than 40% of dogs submitted are able to pass the stringent health and training standards required. A thirteen page Statement of Work is available to explain the standards that must be met.
