The Defense Industrial Supply Center, General Business Office, R&D Group (DISC-BBPR) is soliciting information concerning New Technologies and Innovations that will lead to or enable revolutionary advances in state-of-the-art products in the fields of Material Handling, Photo Imaging & Information, Safe Environment, Food Service and Facilities Equipment items that DISC manages. Other items purchased by DISC are used in the repair and maintenance of key weapon systems; including, the Trident, Patriot and Minuteman III missiles, the Black Hawk and Apache helicopters, the Abrams tank, the Eagle, Hornet and Harrier aircraft, the Ohio and Los Angeles Class submarines, the AEGIS Class cruisers, and the Nimitz Class aircraft carriers, as well as, in support of certain NASA space programs. In addition to supplying military customers, this Center also furnishes supply support to a number of Federal and civil agencies. This announcement seeks to identify information and sources, but is not limited to any specific need, or immediate opportunity. This announcement is a statement of willingness to consider opportunities to enter into potential joint ventures, partnering or business arrangements with DISC-BBPR.
