The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supplies, equipment and supevision necessary to remove and replace portland cement concrete airfield pavement and other work to repair the touchdown area of Runway 30. Work consists of but not limited to: the total demolition and removal without damage to adjacent pavement of 16 inch thick slabs and 6 inch thick base course, preparation of base, placing new concrete payment, including joint seals. The total area of concrete pavement replaced will be approximately 5900 square yards. Additional work will involve milling and overlaying approximately 3500 square yards of asphaltic concrete pavement and installation of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene panels under aircraft system arresting cables. This work will be located at Mountain Home AFB, ID. The total performance for this project will be 150 days. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
