Lodging accommodations and meeting space is needed for TWENTY-FIVE (25) participants in the BUSINESS COUNSELING AND EXPORT ASSISTANCE TRAINING course scheduled in Washington, D.C. on the following dates: June 07,-17, 1998 (12 days). A few participants may be arriving on or about Saturday. June 6th and the rest or bulk on Sunday, June 07th and departing on or about WEDNESDAY, June 17, 1998. AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Television monitor with VCR player (1 day) Overhead projector with large screen (7 days) Exact number of participants needing accommodations and their arrival date will be provided no later than May 23, 1998, or sooner. Specifications: Accommodations must have the following: * Be three blocks or less from a Metro subway stop * Be no more than twenty (20) minute commuting time from Department of Commerce, 14th & Constitution Ave., NW, washington, D.C. * Sleeping room with a full kitchenette (Due to the length of the stay, many of our foreign national prefer to prepare their own food) * Fitness Center, but not required * Smoke detectors * Restaurant on-site, but not required * Conference space to seat (25-30) participants in a U-shape will be needed for each day, Monday through Friday. Conference space will only be used, if it is provided as part of the total cost for the rooms. Must include two flip chart stands with paper for each day, Monday through Friday.
