The Base Logistics Department, Marne Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, submits an open invitation to commercial industry to conduct a no-cost feasibility assessment of the command's Food Service Program. This request for information will encompass an overall assessment of Government's current business practices viewed from a contractor's prospective. Specific areas to address and explore will include the potential for: bundling of associated services, economic improvement in costs/personnel, application of commercial food service practices, and improvement in customer services. If at a later date it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government to issue a solicitation for these services, no preferential treatment will be given to the contractors participating in this assessment.
