volpek.jfk@navair.navy.mil. The AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar
(ALFS) is the Navy's next generation dipping sonar system currently
being developed for the H-60 platform. Naval Air Systems Command
intends to contract with Hughes Aircraft Company, under existing
Contract N00019-92-C-0001, for a series of modifications to provide
engineering and related services to support Navy Developmental and
Operational Testing. This effort shall include testing support,
supplies, test equipment, repair, planning, data analysis and related
travel. Hughes Aircraft company is the only firm that the possesses the
engineering knowledge and data of the ALFS System to provide the
engineering support during the testing in FY98 and FY99. See Note 22.
