Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for the Machining of the first six inches of the outside diameter of each end of pipe to A125 finish. Pipe must be put on a lathe and turned. Outside diameter tolerances are +1/32". NPOI will provide the pipe, which is 20" outside diameter galvanized steel welded pipe. It is 3/16" wall. The lenghts of the pipe are as follows: 78 @ 23 ft., 24 @ 22 ft., 1 @ 13 ft. 7in., 1 @ 11 ft. 7in., 1 @ 9 ft. 7in., 1 @ 7 ft. 7in., 1 @ 5 ft. 7in., and 1 @ 3 ft. 7in. Tolerance on lengths is +/-0.125" Price must include shipping from machine shop to NPOI site in Flagstaff, AZ. NPOI will ship pipe to shop. Total weight of pipe is approximately 95,000 lbs, not including packaging. Machined ends must be packaged to protect them during shipping and handling.
