The second modification was posted on January 20, 1998. An additional (4) units will be included as a separately priced option to be exercised within 60 days advance written notice prior to the scheduled delivery of the final units of the basic quantity. First article testing by the contractor shall be completed within 9 months after award. Delivery of all subsequent units shall be completed within 6 months after first article approval. The units should at a minimum withstand Sea-State 2, Sea-State 3 is desired. The contract will be awarded on a best value basis.
