The Tuba City Indian Medical Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide non-personal services to inpatient and outpatient settings. The Contractor to provide CRNA services in accordance with the Standard of Care established by recognized medical care organizations and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the service unit's medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, including attendance at department and medical staff meetings. The Contractor shall be geographically located so as to be able to arrive within 15 minutes after being called by the Nursing Supervisor. There is some variability of daily and weekly hours based on workload, emergency cases, scheduling of cases and staffing variability. The Contractor shall administer various type of anesthetics to render patient insensitive to pain for cases which may include gastrointestinal, gynecological, plastic, urologic, ophthalmologic, dental, END, orthopedic and thoracic surgical procedures which are extensive and complicated. The Contractor shall be credentialed prior to providing any services. CRNA must be a current certified registered nurse anesthetist; must be a graduate of approved nursing school as well as approved program of nurse anesthesia.
