The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport anticipates acquiring, on a Firm Fixed Price Basis, a Type 8B/J Mod 3 Radar Camouflage Unit (RCU) as a First Article Unit, and up to 20 production units (RCU). Options also exist for provisioned item ordering and up to 24 additional production RCU's. The RCU's will be fabricated according to Build- to- Print specifications and a Government drawing package. A SECRET security clearance will be required of the selected contractor. A technical proposal will be required in response to the Request for Proposals. Offerors will be required to address Technical/Management Approach, Facilities and Past performance. The resulting contract will be awarded to the offeror submitting a technically acceptable proposal offering the Best Value to the Government. This acquisition will be Set-Aside 100% for Small Businesses. See Note 1. All responsible Small Businesses may submit a proposal which will be considered.
